About

A studio of one

SutraForge is a one-person software studio based in Himachal Pradesh, India. The person you talk to is the person who writes the code.

Small businesses spend hours on work that's repetitive but still needs care: answering the same questions, copying details between tools, chasing follow-ups. Software can take that on reliably — as long as it's built with clear limits, knows what it doesn't know, and hands over to a person when it matters.

That's the kind of software SutraForge builds. The first product is an Instagram assistant that replies to DMs and comments for small businesses. Workflow automation and custom integrations come next.

Working with a studio of one means no account managers and no hand-offs: the same person scopes the work, builds it, and looks after it once it's live.

The name

Why “Sutra”

Sutra is Sanskrit for thread — the thing that runs through and holds separate pieces together. That's the job: connecting your tools, your customers and your time, so the work carries on without you pulling every stitch by hand.

Principles

How the work is done

  1. Know when to stay quiet

Good automation knows its limits. When a wrong answer would cost you money or trust, it hands over to a human instead of guessing.

  2. Keep it small

The simplest thing that solves the problem, built so it's cheap to run and easy to understand later.

  3. Respect the platform's rules

Instagram, WhatsApp and every other platform have limits. Working within them keeps your accounts safe.
